Worcester Concert Club presents Christopher Allsop - A Lecture and Recital on the 1840 Nicholson Organ (Hirer)

A Lecture and Recital on the historic Nicholson organ of 1840.

Christopher Allsop is Assistant Director of Music at The King’s School, Worcester. In addition to running a number of choirs, Christopher maintains an active solo career, performing a variety of concerts each season and has two solo organ CDs on current release. At today’s concert the history and sound world of the Nicholson organ will be explored featuring music by English composers as well as by Bach, Mendelssohn and Guilmant.
