As part of Loud & Queer Arts Festival 2020, Provisional Act Theatre Company is excited to present a unique dance evening at the Swan Theatre Studio.

The event will feature two dance performances by Kris Saunders and Thania Acarón both dealing with queer themes.

'What do you see?' by Kris Saunders
This new dance piece by Kris Saunders asks us the question of what we see in others, how we judge others based on what we think we see, and how our need to make snap decisions about people prevents us from seeing them as the individuals they are. He invites us to consider how easily we stereotype based on those perceptions, preventing the real person from ever being seen.

and a Queer Cherry On Top

Description:
Under the guise of bravery achieved through lavish drinking habits, this unapologetic physical theatre work explores intimate perspectives of discovering one’s Latinx fierceness and as a result, encountering intriguing family histories, multiple microaggressions and a strong sense of identity.

Told in a strong mix of the comedic-yet-poignant, this autobiographical physical storytelling project brings forth a powerful voice of inbetweenness, examined meticulously through a Martini glass lens.
