The Howard Robinson History Talks
A talk exploring our country's path to democracy.

Oliver Cromwell was the leader who came out of the Parliamentary pack both during and after the Civil War. In supporting the execution of the monarch in 1649 (four years before he came to power), he was able to establish the importance of Parliament to rule our country in a democratic manner.
