The Howard Robinson History Talks
A talk exploring our country's path to democracy.

Powick Bridge near Worcester was where the first skirmish of the 'English' Civil War took place in 1642. The last and most decisive battle of the Civil War in 1651, when Parliamentary forces defeated Royalist forces at Worcester, finally established the supremacy of Parliament over the monarchy.
